Concert Schedule
On April 26, 2008, The Chorus will present its Delaware County Bicentennial Arts Celebration.
This will be the story of Delaware’s 200 years set to American popular music throughout the
twenty decades of Delaware’s history. In addition to the concert, there will be an art
display created by Delaware county school students intended to depict some aspect of the Delaware story (Details Here).
Delaware Community Chorus' concerts are held at Willis Middle School. Willis is within the city limits
of Delaware at the NE corner of E. William St. and N. Washington Street.
Making music together is the birthright of all living creatures. The Delaware Community
Chorus is an unauditioned group that welcomes all who wish to join and weaves them into
an inspirational sound, performing several concerts and outings each year.
Our organization is like a one room schoolhouse. The beginner gets the tutelage of the
more experienced singers while the latter not only gain gratification from this sharing,
but also are able to participate and produce quality music in a scholarly environment, with emphasis on learning for all levels.
Our rehearsals are held on the Ohio Wesleyan Campus on the third floor of Sanborn Hall
Monday nights from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. Our season runs from Labor Day to Memorial Day.
Feel free to drop by or give our Director, Jim Keyes, a call for more information. Jim can be reached at: 614-459-1189.
